My neighbor bought this when I was in high school I graduated in '91,he was in junior high.I put it together for him it used to have some High dollar electrics for that time in history.Well he was never happy with it took it some rc repair/consigment shop.Got it back two weeks later and all his dollar stuff was taken out and a bunch of used stuff was put in it.He got ripped off.He probably ran it for another month and then shelved it.Well I got it 8 years ago after I found it in his bushes in the front yard with no electrics in it.His older brother told me to take it.I put some stuff in it and ran it.Don't have the original body I think I put a body on it for an associated car not sure which model I'll post pics with the body later. It's not very fast and it eats batteries,I'm assuming because of the four wheel drive. It is fun to drive I'll get it running again after I get my RC 10's running.I just think it's a neat car.
The shocks on the front are RS4 rear shocks?

it shouldnt have one, the buggy with a saddle chassis and undertray is a boost, the final evolution i think.

I dont think the Boost had the saddle pack chassis. My guess would be that it was an after market part possibly by Race Prep....

Boost did not have a saddle pack chassis.
The second car from Inet R/C is most likely a "Race Prep" modified boost or Pro Radiant.

yes, lower chassis was definitely a race prep optional part.
the car is a Pro Radiant, as mentioned before. car looks to be in really good shape, although the front shocks are wrong, and are putting the suspension at a pretty extreme angle. if the shocks dont' bottom out completely before the chassis touches the ground, you can place limiter shims under the piston to shorten the shocks a little.
keep good maintenence on the front one-way hubs, keep them lightly oiled and dirt free, and on the correct side. the wheels should freewheel in the forward direction.

Thanks guys for the input. The shocks are aftermarket.I think at one point i wanted a truggy so I put nlonger shocks on it and some wide tires.I'll put those back on and take some pics of it.Bormac that is a beautiful car,I don't mind you posting the pics I think it is sweet that we can trade pics and comment.Once again beatiful car!

Fronts look like Kyosho Equalizer style shocks (note the cap). Rear I can't really tell.

the rears look to be stock items, but i agree, it's hard to tell.
also looks like you took some motor spray to the gold wheels to make 'em silver, maybe not intentionally. I did the same thing, hah

I beleive the Pro Radiant came with silver wheels rather than the gold, but your wheels look like they were painted silver

I have three of the four versions of the radiants I still need Bormac to ship me his so I have a complete collection of them but by far the pro's maveriks and the boost are the more valuable of the Ayk's next to the vipers but if you keep your eyes open on ebay parts do pop up rarely I have ten new sets of the orange arms, but I don't dare to sell them I wish you luck on ur rebuild and welcome to ayk collecting
