does anybody here have a 1/16 slash. theirs a new track to race at near me they only race 1/16 & 1/18 scale. I was looking at the new asc, but I dont like the fact they dumped the shaft for a belt, so I am leanning twards the slash. what do you think?

The Slash arms are stubby and it likes to roll. If they are racing the 1/16 Revos imho those are a better choice. Have you seen the races yet?

I haven't run more than a battery pack through my mini slash but the body needs to be cutdown as the wheels rub when the suspension is compressed.

yeah, the reason i did not get the slash was due to it wanting to roll so much. Instead i got te mini e-revo and that thing flies.. handles real well too!

Got a couple brothers near us that run the snot outta their mini revos and they haul. They don't really break much but they also have a tendency to roll but at the speeds they are running with a 3cell lipo its no wonder they roll goin into the corners. Depends on what you want to run. I also don't like the fact that asc went to a belt so I'm putting some time into one of my rc18t to make it a revo killer  .

I agree the mini slash isjunk, the mini revo is a lot better. A few guys here race Duratrax vendettas and those are pretty good. They handle really well, have tons of hop-ups available and are cheap to buy. The asc 1/18th cars just don't seem to be very durable. I have been looking into a mini and everyone keeps telling me to stay away from the asc cars because of the durability problems.
