'93 WORKS
I've just aquired a '93 Works.
Can anyone tell me if this thing is 100% correct, has any parts that don't belong,or is missing any parts?
I know the ridged Pavidis rims aren't correct-what are the correct rims for this car?
I have some NIP pink 870c rims?
Thanks guys!
I really like the look of this car.
It's been sitting in a dusty warehouse for 20 years!

Re: '93 WORKS
Hi there,
From what i can see, it should have titanium turnbuckles everywhere, that front suspension brace thing should be black frp and it should have the yokomo tcs (slipper clutch) standard.
Cheers,
Peter

Re: '93 WORKS
Oh,Scampi-you should have seen the auction lot this car came from!
This auction addict dude has a huge factory filled with stuff he bought from auctions-this car was in an auction lot he bought from an RC store that went bust.
The score was...
2 Dual Sports
'93 Works
Blackfoot
JRX Pro
RC10T
Tamiya Astute
Kyosho Shadow
The first Traxxas stadium truck (whatever they are)
A Turbo Optima Mid Special
A Bolink pan car
A new in box RC10B2
Packets and packets of parts
MUCH more that I'm forgetting
All for the princely sum of...NZ$260!
About US$120!
There's lots more in the guy's factory and we're heading back soon for another haul of parts and cars.

I don't know much about that model, but it looks fast.
What's the deal with that brace on the front suspension? I don't get it.

Re: '93 WORKS
the brace is supposed to stiffen up the front suspension, i think they had problems with the c-hub initially. the link connects to the c-hub up top, like the upper link, and creates an 'A' arm.
