i reconditioned and painted this chassis, nose plate, and motor plate a couple years ago, with intentions of adding it as a runner-up prize to our rc10talk raffle team car that we had. it never happened. so, these parts have just been hanging from the rafters in my basement ever since. well, i've decided to just build it for myself.
i sprayed this with some dupont absolute purpleen prizm chromalusion paint that was leftover from a job i had at my work. it's not the easiest thing..... getting pics of all the color shades. but, it flip flops between bronze, blue, green and purple.
i'm not planning anything special with it........ no super duper rare parts or anything like that. just gonna put it together.

That's cool. This chassis and pieces shouldn't add much weight to the package.

. PM sent.

Please refer to the B/S/T rules, all items for sale must have a price.

And be in the B/S/T section.
I almost could have talked him out of it 7 mo ago

, but I hope he builds it

i'm not saying i would never sell it, but i highly doubt i would.
now in the event i decided to let it go, whoever wants it will be glad that i didn't have to pay for the paint. that dupont chromalusion costs over $400
per pint.
there's about $200 worth of primer/paint of those 3 pieces. add on a fair price for the parts themselves, and what i feel my time/effort was worth, it wouldn't be all that cheap.

Nice work Jason. I remember a while back I wanted some Chromalusion and I got a quote of $65 an ounce. So, that idea got squashed real fast.

another thing with the chromalusion, it's best to spray it over black. it helps the colors to flop better. now, black doesn't cost all that much. but it's still an added cost, on TOP of the rediculous price of the chromalusion.

That chassis does look great. But if it is worth that much, you should just hold on to it because it's pretty much guaranteed to be a one of a kind for the rest of time...

Ya you should keep it as a shelf queen. That is one sexy chassis.
