Re: video of my crash
That first guy cartwheeling out of the stadium reminds me of the sprint race I went to. One of the drivers tried to come up into the stands. Luckily, he hooked the rail that protects the flag guy (who ducked to avoid decapitation ) and stayed hanging on the wall.

Re: video of my crash
Wow that SOUNDS really cool..the video is pretty good too...I used to hang around a speedway track when I was a kid..even worked there selling drinks for awhile..then ended up as a crew member for a few teams. The worse wreck I saw a guy lost both his feet at the ankle..just two really nice driving shoes lying there..but with the feet still in them..

Reminds me of the only time I ever got to Ascot to see the CRA sprints run. Awesome, still have Brad Nofsinger's autograph on a shirt somewhere.

Re: video of my crash
funny, there were actually about half a dozen usac/cra cars there that night because calistoga had their usac show the next two nights which is about an hour away. this happened on the 4th of september. I crushed my T4/T5 vertebrae and spent the next week in the hospital, I'm in a torso/neck/head brace for the next couple months and out of work til xmas or so.

I'm waiting to see what the doctors say, I do however, think that was it for non wing sprint racing, it's just a little violent when it goes wrong and to be honest, I was working my tail off with side jobs and what not to feed the thing$$$ If the doc's say it's cool then I'll probably get back in a dirt mod or a super stock
