Extra holes on Shock Strut #6231

There is a second set of holes above the mounting holes; what are those for? They are so close to the edge, looks like a terrible weak spot.

just another set of holes for the turnbuckles. different angle for different tracks. just like the rear bulkhead.

you think that's too many holes, you should see some of these shock towers used in dirt oval sliders. it's almost ridiculous.

Oh yeah, I have a set of Factory Works oval towers, they were three on each side, and I know some trucks have 4 or more. I didn't think they would have used camber links that much longer than the regular outer mounts. Seems like they could easily break through the edge of the fiberglass there too.
