HPI Nitro mini RS4

Post by nick84 »

I got this when I took my evader for a run, a guy told me to come here that he has somthing for me. So I went to his place and he gave me this and a RC10T Complete for $15. Now i knew that was a great deal sincew I had a gold pan before and it sold for $50. I looked up the black tub and its got the white stealth transmission in it. (its currently being cleaned up) (also with the black tub i got a orignal complete set of wheels and tires)

But the other one by my research is an HPI Nitro mini rs4, i could be wrong but it looked like it in the pics on the hpi website. this is complete but the body but he said that if he finds it he will give me a call.

And for helping out my neighbor I got this one!

That is actually one of the original nitro rs4 cars from about 1996 or so. Unfortunately, it's not a nitro mini. As far as I can tell, it looks pretty complete....maybe just a fuel tank, pullstarter, and steering servo to getting in running condition. Could be a nice classic after a little TLC as you don't see many of the first run cars around anymore.

:( if it were a mini id buy it in a HEART beat(wink wink) in bad to good shape(roller with most parts there, running conditon and mind condition). it is a shame the orig & rs4 2 arent worth much/are worth it to save really although if you already have a ton of parts for them it would be

anyone else like those nitro min cars?

it has a fuel tank, sterring servo and others just not the body.

How can you tell thats its not the nitro mini?

Its a small thing, smaller then my evader, about the same size as my nikko f10 rhino.

Also this still runs like a champ!

The nitro minis are a lot more compact. The upper deck is a dead giveaway. The pics are from the HPI racing website archives.

The first pic is the mini RS4 and the second pic is the mini RS4 pro with lots of carbon goodness.
