This is on a local auction site...I've never seen anything like it so I had to share..

Here's what he says about the truck

kyosho Tr-15 stadium truck
Bought truck a few months back and the engine was buggered, it had a 15 size motor.
A friend of mine is a fitter and turner and we thought it would be worth a try putting a plane 40 size engine in it.
Have had it running and performance was very promising, at quarter throttle running it in it was spinning all four wheels with ease, great sound, way louder than the 15 size.

The plane engine is brand new, run maybe 2 tanks through it tops.

Being a plane engine we had to machine crankshaft to fit flywheel and clutch assembly, machine a larger heatsink up and make custom engine mounts.

Also has to be started with a starter box.

That is the downfall, the compression of such a larger engine puts alot of strain on the starter box and it has been difficult to start because of that.

Car comes complete with radio gear, spares, original engine, starter box and shell, 3 fans that mount under the shell and a extra reciever pack and switch for eletric fans (needs wired up) cover has drill holes in deck for extra cooling, this may not be necessary but we didnt want to take any risks with new motor.

An upgrade of either the starter box or the motor in the starter box supplied would be required to make it a reliable package as the starter motor is not working

Well worth sorting, would be a real head turner!!

Only question, is the price good, it would be worth picking up definitely, even if to restore to original, I reckon you want a good stock of diff parts otherwise to run it
