I Just Scored A YZ-10!

Wow,I've only ever wanted one since 1989!
A pretty good car came up locally and I was able to snatch it,complete with radio for the equivalent of US$50. :D
It has a broken front arm,but I'm hoping it won't be too tough to find one...
A Yokoholic friend of mine said it was a Pavidis Edition, but wearing incorrect wheels and a fibreglass top brace, instead of the correct carbon one.
It's being shipped to me tomorrow, but I thought I'd ask you guys what you think it is.
Those look like XX era Losi shocks, too.
I found a set of these pink wheels, wearing the origional kit tires, with the moulding ridge still intact on the centre, too.
Got some green ones,as well.
Can anyone tell me what they're off and if they'd be correct for this car?
How 'bout the body?
Pavidis,or just a YZ-10?

The body is a Pavidis.

your friend is correct, it's a Pavidis with a fiberglass upper deck. The bad news ... the correct parts are near impossible to find, especially if you want new. I'd help you out if I had any!

The front arms you have are standard solid Works 95, the rear arms look to be the rare '97 (have large cut outs as standard). The arms you should have are between the two but with milled areas (instead of solid/cut-out).

It looks from the picture that its the front C-hub that is broke (and easy to get hold of, I should have one I can send you) and NOT the front arm. The front arms are notoriously strong, probably due to the 91-93 front arms being very weak.

The front wheels look like the rare LRP composite but I could be wrong, there are a set of rears on Ebay right now which would be a good match. The pink wheels pictured are early yokomo and are not correct for this car, you need the reinforced wheels that has additional ridges. Everything else is Pavadis: Chassis, Shock towers, rear carbon ball mount.

Your missing black battery mounts
Long carbon battery plate
Small '93 style carbon battery plate
Carbon top deck
Ridged yoke wheels

The battery plates very rarely come up and there are a couple of people on here looking for them (including me). The carbon on the Pavadis has a slight golden touch to it compared to your standard black/grey carbon . Fibre-lyte do the '93 style battery plate but the carbon weave is way different.

One thing that seems to appear on the Pavidis cars quite a bit is the Losi shocks, which are not standard and I think a driver upgrade - must have been more popular that the AE ones at the time?

You have any better pics of those? I think I might have some and want to ID them.

Were the LRP composite wheels sold by Peak Performance in the states? I ran some wheels on my B2 that looked just like those that were sold by Peak.

Wow,thanks for all the info!
The car should be here in a day or two and I'll shoot some good photos and post them up.
I'm just stoked to finally have one. :D
Especially a Pavidis!

I managed to buy a set of NIP ridged rims for it! :D
These are correct,right?
How many bolts should I be using to bolt 'em on with-2 or 4?
