whitening plastic parts??

I am restoring 3 gold pans and was wondering if anyone has found the best way to restore the white parts? Or is the yellowing of the plastic actually staining the plastic making the yellow tint permanent?

It's ok man lol I decided to spend most of the day looking through the temples thread anyway. i'm sure i'll come accross the subject eventually. I am in the process of trying to read every thread on the forums because I have allot of questions and don't wanna be a noob asking if the answers are already here.
