Those of you who are members of Tamiya club would have heard of James French...but for all of you other members here is a run down on him. James like myself is a Kiwi and works at Weta Studios which is owned by Sir Peter Jackson and is the outfit that made Lord Of The Rings trilogy, as a miniatures/props technican. James got together with another guy called Daniel Cockersell to produce 1/10 scale drivers heads in two styles, full face known as Ray and a open face helmet known as Albert. Anyway the detail on these heads is amazing and if you follow the instructions in the 25 page glossy painting manual you can come up with some pretty impressive results...check out the pictures..and if anybody is interested I will try to get a couple to put in the BST section...

That is awesome. I love the detail. Do they make interior kits also? I am trying to figure out how to make an interior kit for my clod, but I'm stumped.

Those are amazing!! I bet some of the guys that race Trans Am around here would love them, just curious about how much do they cost?

There are a few ready to paint cockpits on ebay now,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-10-Cockpit-Yokomo-HPI-Drift-Tamiya-Body-Driver-TT01_W0QQitemZ380145580889QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item5882713b59&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177
but if you could find a Marui big bear cockpit, that would give you a pair of seats, driver dash and wheel, that look pretty realistic truck wise, only spare I had is in my friends shelfer now.
Got a nice shell still but no inners came with it

I like the interior on ebay, but that's more race car like. Not quite what I have in mind for my clod.

That interior you have for the big bear looks pretty nice. Are the bodies pretty close in size to a clod? It looks like it might be a little narrower.

Smaller than the clod altogether, although the cockpit was bought to go in a Kyosho I had, not knowing what it was from originally, sure helped my friend's build out, as that is an often lost part, it was too big for the Double Dare, so if you can find one might sit in the Clod OK

I looked on ebay and didn't see anything but I found a repop bruiser interior, but the guy wants $32 and it doesn't look all the great.

Those heads would look nice mounted on a body of some kind and installed in a sprint car. Would a Ken doll torso be too big?

I've tried every sort of toy/doll out there..nothing seems to fit my BBT sprint car..unless of course you happen to have the original driver figure that a lot of sprint cars came with..which I happen to have...
