thought it would be cool to do up a kyosho sideways as a DIRT CHAMP CAR GMP racer still need to add the number decals on back and the drivers head, eventually would like to have frame and the rest of the aluminum stock parts gold anod also need to switch out shocks to the gold shocks but it is looking pretty good so far.

Wow, that is one funny looking cool car!! And, of course, no more need be said about the wheels - they speak for themselves!!

took some advice from shodog and made some changes I changed the rear tires found some shocks that better suit this project, and lowered the chassis as low as I could added the headers all in all I think the changes have made a big improvement I still might change the tires to a treaded street tire not sure yet. thanks for the input shodog

The lower profile tires and shorter shocks look much better indeed!
If you're planning to put a pack in it for display, you should look at some conversions that have the batery along the centerline rather than transversal. (Actually a good thing if you're planning on driving too)
Do you allready have a cage and driver in mind to complete the body?

This build is not going to get a cage just need to make a rear bumper, front bumper, and some kind of roll bar, here are some reference pics I have been going by I would like to make up a small windshield also. still alot to be done

That's a neat original project!
I agree with the lower stance, way cooler.
The early sprinters look way better than the late model stuff.

You're going to need a BIG steering wheel to keep it scale!
Thanks for the reference picture
