Anyone able to help me out put some old RC videos on the tube? My brother had my grandfather's VHS tapes burned to CD/DVD. From what I can tell, it looks like the files are .vbo files. I don't have a clue how to split them up and place them on the net.

Help?

Probably .vob files, thats whats on a bought dvd, need converting to avi files, much smaller, and then a free program called avi splitter would chunk them down to acceptable resolution and length to upload.

.vob files are dvd file extensions and need to be converted to .avi files like mentioned above. If you bring the .vob files into windows movie maker and then re-output them as .avi files, you can then run a program called hjsplit to split them up if necessary. This is a freeware item: http://hjsplit.en.softonic.com/. I'm sure someone will tell you a different way but just depends on what software you have available. Try googling "convert .vob files to .avi" and see what software suggestions come up.
