This photo was taken with my Nikon F2 using 16mm Fish Eye Nikkor lens nearby beach in Saudi Bharain bridge during the gulf war.
Actually this kit was scratch built from Vanquish and Avante parts.
Bought Egress and Avante 2001 shells CF Avante Chassis and Tamiya Avante titanium screws.

Yeah! i just found those old pictures stuck for years then start scanning all of what i find worhty to share with the RC lovers.
So here she is now as a shelf queen, my elder son return it back to me just to avoid my grandson play with it.
He knows how precious this kit to me. And its time to do some serious restoration.

i agree the Avante line up including Egress sharing the same chassis is a real beauty! Im sure you got the original black spoke wheels for your Egress! I got the vintage 2.0 yellow wide wheels with the original spike tires.
Found some cracks on the gear box cover edges where the counter sunk screw locate and the plastic steering arm broke too! Lucky me plastic parts for the Avante/Egress here in Saudi Arabia still available.

I'll bet many old LHS will have these parts laying around just because it wasn't very popular and the LHS that stock parts for these eventually just put them in the back room
