Project Ultima A&L conversion (13th July,2009 updated)
Actually I saw this beautifully built Ultima A&L conversion in a Japanese webpage long time ago............really wanted to build one up myself...........but did not know where to get it at that time......

lucky enough to get one "hybrid version" of RC10 from a LHS ..........which contains an A&L Lethal Weapon gearbox (with slipper)........ together with a set of Ultima A&L graphite conversion kit bought recently.........

in order to make this car "more delicious"........I am going to put the best "ingredients" into this car (of course tried to be period correct)........including a pure-tech battery strap..........and a set of HPI Star wheels........

for the electronics.........I am going to throw in a Trinity motor.........KO Propo PS-87Z fet servo........Novak Esc (still struggling between HPC & Novak 1 )..........most likely will be using a set of KO Propo EX1 controller.........

for the body shell.........I think the Japanese owner in the 1st picture is using the Tomahawk shell..............so I just purchased one from Kamtec.......... hope to get it soon.........

It is a tomahawk body indeed. Tanaka-san made his own mould and repros a long time ago. Somewhere in that huge site are the pictures of the process he used.

having searched in my store room today .........found some useful parts for this project...........
including the Ultima XL front arms ............A&L front shock tower & steering bell-crank...........front, rear bulkheads & arm support.........
