RC10 Stub Axles

I understand that at some stage the thread size changed on the stub axles on early gold tubs. Can anybody tell me what the difference sizes were?

I believe that the original steel axles with the hex shanks(both inline and offset) had 4-40 threads, while the newer aluminum, round shank axles are 5-40.

Ok so I can't just change them over I have to get the holders as well?

you have to have the correct knuckle for whichever axle you have.

you might want to check

or if you want to use metric bearrings you can try
THESE as well..
You'll need the original knuckles for both though
