Funny, i've had this chassis for a year, almost cut it up for another upcomming build--then
the TQ76's, later the same day (you know where) some NIP 2.0 TQ rims, turnbuckles and
it hit me! Thats how most of my builds are, some other tires that a really cool guy with bad musical taste gave me set me on a renewed virility for some boxed projects!

Well, the build is finished, just need a protech II body. Sorry about the poor pics--my son
made our Nikon D take a dive off the table-and it's taken me this long to find all the junk for the old digi--anyway here she is

I was under the impression you were going to square-off the chassis like the one pictured on the box. :?

Well, I thought i'd get some feedback here--I have the raw steel turnbuckles and universals like the box art--just a little leary of squaring off an unrun chassis.

Any body else think she needs to be squared?

He also wanted a new drug.... and if this is it, please let him know...
If it was me I would look for a decent used chassis and square it. I would have a difficult time hacking away. :D

+1. Cut up a used chassis and if you really, really like it then do it to the new one. Better that then do all the cutting to the new chassis wish you hadn't.

just cut the new one. right now, it doesn't look any different than any other 6 gear graphite. get the saw out.

first thing i'd do is lay a tq10 chassis over it to see it can even be cut correctly. if not, then i wouldn't do it.
