To win a race? No
Because it aint worth anything? No again.
Save it for when you know exactly what to do with it.

Mmkay, anyhow I was just wondering if I should keep it in the package. I was going to run it in my runner RC10 just for a little front yard fun but oh well....
Thanks for the reply.

Personally I wouldn't run it. You can get a 17 turn AE stock motor off ebay for about $10. I would save the vintage myself.
But then again, I don't want to run my CE, and most of you guys would probably consider it a beater.

I probably didn't get across what I meant there...
Basically, what the dude above me said. It is worth more than el cheapo motors you can buy anywhere and has the same (or worse) performance.
Its value is its age.
Run it and you lose the only value it has.
If you don't know what to do with it, do nothing. Let it hang a few more years.

Would any of you run this motor to win a race? No <-- meaning you are not going to win any races with it.
Would any of you run this motor because it aint worth anything? No again <-- meaning it is worth something
Just in case further clarification was needed, haha.
I have a bunch of old motors that are new, but never run. I put them in my "vintage" kits that are shelf monsters.

Fluorescent colors were big back then, especially pink!
