i was wondering if someone who has some old issues of rcca could find the ad for one of these for me. i know it'll probably be impossible to find the kit, but if i remember right, the ad had the part numbers in it. it was a double deck graphite chassis. that's really all i remember about it. any help, i'd appreiciate it. thanks in advance.
ps - i think it was in mid 90's issues. 94,95, somewhere in there.

There's a double deck graphite ss at my lhs. I doubt it's for sale as the shop has tons of old rc's literally hanging on the walls in a make-shift display of dirty, well-used bits of rc history. The only shelf queens are the latest models for sale. The owner primarily sells Tamiya but brings out some Associated goodies for me once in a while.

what really ticks me off is i had every rcca issue, from oct. 90 until oct. 04, and i chucked every one of them in a dumpster when i moved out of one of my apartments. i just got tired of moving them. at the time, i didn't think i'd need them.
oh, well.....................

They do suck to move - When they arrived in the mail my mailman was not happy with me for a long time - two boxes weighing 48 pounds each! But they do come in handy when looking for part numbers and old articles!!!!

Yep I did the same thing. They just suck to move more than once. Im an idiot. I could reread those mags a million times and still enjoy them. I think I still have some old Tower catalogs which is sweet to have for part #'s, but dont ask me where they are.

it's funny though. i can remember so much of the stuff that was in them, just from looking at them so much. the only reason i think i tossed mine was i got sick of every issue being about nitro cars and trucks, touring cars, and t-maxxes. i let my subscription run out after 14 years, and out they went. if i would have kept my subscription, i bet i'd still have all of them.

i think it was in mid 90's issues. 94,95, somewhere in there.
You're memory is amazing! - I found the add in the May 1994 issue.
If you could please remember the page number next time it would make it much easier for me!
