The stamp was a production version id, A, B, & C--and some times......a/b double stamps.

The stamp denotes which version you have, different versions for different models

You are correct sir!, now there is a varation in color (on gold chassis) as the years went on
and the very early A stamps were stamped on the bottom of the chassis, instead of from the top

does anyone have any pics of "a/b double stamp" gold pan , or the ones stamped from the bottom??

also when did they start making the black tubs? i never seen a "A" stamped tub that is original black,
did they even produce black tub or rc10T or DS with the original 6 gear trans? i have 2 rc10T's , and another black tub , they are stamped B and C.

also is there any difference between the rc10T chassis and the DS chassis?

I have a gold pan stamped A B .Why both I don't know .It is drilled and counter sunk for the for both the six gear and stealth trans. And a early Bottom A stamp gold pan . I don't want to take the trans out of the A B chassis for a pic. But here is a pic of the A stamped on the bottom chssais . I may be wrong but only the early edinger chassis's had the bottom A stamp. I am not up to the RC10 history as far as letter stamps on the chassis just passing along what I have learned so far.The A B stamped chassis that I have came with the CE stealth kit that I assembled back when they came out . I still have the car and have never ran it .
