can anyone give me the specs on the original 10t, i.e. wheelbase and width. After seeing the sc10t build on here I was wondering what it would take to get the 10t up to current roar specs for the sct class

I just measured my 10T. The width from the outer edge of the tires is approx. 12 inches. The wheelbase (From wheel center to wheel center) is approx. 11.25 inches. Hope this helps.

Front Track 8.25
Rear Track 8.375

I thought it would be convenient to have the SC10 specs in the same place:
SC10
Length: 21.6" (550mm)
Width: 11.5" (293mm)
Track: 9.6" (245mm)
Weight: 4.6lbs (2080g)
Wheelbase: 12.9" (327mm)
Internal Gear ratio: 2.6:1
RC10T
Overall length 16.25" (413mm)
Width 12.625" (321mm)
Wheelbase 11.125" (283mm)
Front Track 8.25" (210mm)
Rear Track 8.375" (213mm)
Weight with battery 3 lbs 13.6 oz (1746g)
Interesting weight difference , I know the 10T is shorter but that's quite a bit of weight there.
Differences:
Length: 5.35" (137mm)
Width: -1.13" (-28mm) NOTE: The SC10 is narrower, probably because the 10T has wider wheels
Front track: 1.35" (35mm)
Rear Track: 1.23" (32mm)
Wheelbase: 1.78" (44mm)
Weight: 0.70 lbs (334g)

Well, there is a lot more 'stuff' on the SC10 chassis, but there is more material overall on the vehicles made from composite materials. Losi trucks usually weighed a ton, about 4 pounds, when the truck class minimum was 3.5 pounds.
The specs in RCCA were always suspect; sometimes they would have different numbers for the same vehicle in different issues or special issues.

Hmmm, drawing from the given specs doesn't quite seem right:
I've drawn the SC10T chassis with 44mm (1 3/4") extra length over the RC10T chassis based on wheel base lengths given in the stats.
*RC222* has made his chassis 18.83mm (3/4") longer.
bigredjeep has made his chassis 50mm (2") longer.

I made my SC10T chassis 2.5" longer and it lines up perfectly (except I drilled the front mounting holes cockeyed and it's about 1/16" off, enough to drive me nuts). The front wheels are centered in the fenders when the suspension bottoms out.

Thanks for that reply. How about some pics of your SC10T SteveK. I would love to see it. Please do post a few.
