Tranny Rebuild, bearing spacers and CVD's

It's been a little while since i've built a diff and replaced my trans gears in my old ride. Thats a much modded 10T sport for reference.
First, whats the best lube to use on the internal gears? And should i clean the grease out of my new bearings and put something else in them?
I just got the RPM rear bearing carrier upgrade plastic parts and a set of 1/4 axle CVD's and Avid 1/4 x 1/2 bearings but i can't find a AE part number for the bearing spacer to run with the 1/4 axle. The ones that go between the bearings in the rear carriers.
And lastly, any CVD tricks or tips that anyone would like to share. CVD's are something i haven't fooled with in a while either.

Don't lubricate the gears they're self lubricating. New bearings should be lubed fine no need to clean them out and redo it.

1/4 inch axles never used bearing spacers, they don't need them because the wheel is pushed up against the taper on the axle so it can't bind, rather than pushed up against the bearing.

With the CVD's make sure you file a flat in the middle of the pin and then make the flat ends up where the grub screw is going. It's never fun having the pin coming out and chopping slots in your suspension arm.

I use Shrink Tubing on my CVDs. 8)
