My son's re-re Hotshot

I bought this for my son, me and the wife assembled (mostly her) and I painted.
Had to be bright so he could see it well. Overall a very fun kit to build! It's got full bearings, and I will be dropping in a Sport tuned motor as soon as I get it pulled from my Falcon.

I have an original release Hotshot. I just love the looks of this car! Compared to most other contemporary Tamiya buggis this one of all of them says, "I mean business!" :) Nice build! You can't go wrong with yellow. :D

Nicely done. Gotta love those huge snow plow bumpers Tamiya used to put on.... my first car was a stingray QD and the bumper was HUGE.

What size are those wheels? are they 1.9 or 2.2, or somewhere in between?
