On a recent trip up to Boondal James and myself managed to get our Dog Fighters up and going. While ive been transforming my 91 back into an 870c James has this very tasty version with lots of C/F and cool bits. Unfortunately I only have still photo's while James did get some action shots with his SLR- :D

Nice cars mate, would be really interested to read how the Yoke goes as a vintage racer, especially compared to the CAT's?

Sorry Jason but none of the action shots of your Yoke turned out.I think it was too fast for my camera to catch.Heres some of your Samurai and my pit table.Funny but my only car still running at the end of the day was my RC10.I really need to put more prep time in.

Jason

I feel so good knowing the cars I sold have moved on to people that use it for the right purposes. That was my old 93 Yoke that Vintage Racer bought and I cant believe that when I bought it on ebay it was on a BIN for a long time each time the price going down. Eventually got it for £45 was a bargain, you'll be lucky to get anything Yokomo now for that price. Got to see those classics in action again.

Cheers Varma

Jason,

In the 4th picture down, what has been done to the rear bulkhead? The alloy/magnesium seems to have been machined away or holes drilled? Did it come like that or did you modify it?

Ian

Varma Im glad to see your old Yoke in action. James and i had a blast running these cars that day.
Ian the rear bulkhead was like that when i received it. looks as though someone got a little inventive with a drill.
