I thought that those torches were benzene- not a significant risk of leaking liquid as far a I knew-

If they use LPG though...1 liter of LPG at (standard temp and pressure) becomes around 10 cubic feet of vapor (about 270:1 ratio), which if ignited increases by about the same factor-

(we studied LPG as a hydrocarbon during the summer, but not benzene)

As long as you use proper ventilation and keep the gas fittings tight you shouldn't have a problem. Just basic safety precautions. I've used propane and mapp gas many times without any issues. Mapp gas will produce a hotter flame and is what I'll be using. I ordered a torch with a hose for ease of use and will pick up the mapp cylinder at Home Depot. As long as you use a good flux it's quite easy for soldering tubing. Brazing requires a lot of heat which is why I've decided not to go that route.

- aftermarket front bumper
- adjustable Kyosho shocks up front, Serpent up rear
- finned motor mounts
- possibly titanium hinge pins
- Futaba S9303 and S9402 servos
- CZ engine
- fiber brake disk
- unknown wheels pushing the width to full race width (240 mm) - will have to see what I need to change to be able to use the 220 mm wide McLaren body I picked up earlier.

I think it was worth the US$150 + 35 bucks shipping I paid for it.

To be converted to electric.

Does the BME chassis take a standard RC10 nose plate? I've seen a few of those out on e-Bay but no nose plates.
