Yep! Man, that video really makes me want to buy one. I'm trying to save some money this year, good thing there are no tracks around here, or I'd be ordering one.

I know I bashed it at first but I saw the price of the kit and began to think about it. I do wonder if itll take a beating like the slash. wonder how either will do in sand? I really need a truck that can drive through sand with out many problems. Just need a basher.

Any one have the sc10 yet?

I'm sure this video is already posted in this thread somewhere, it seems to show that the slash has no issues with sand, I don't know if these are modified trucks.

If you look at the first shot you can see the rear tires are paddles or maybe Cut tires? and it has to have a brushless, the stock Slash is now were near that Fast.

I agree with Rick, most those trucks are running more motor than stock.

id like to see the sc10 do this cause i think its much nicer looking and should handle better then the slash http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA4WKAOqvh4&feature=related this video reminds me of the days when id take out rc10s and 10ls gear them for top speed sit in the passenger side of a car stick the antenna out the window and drive the rc car in front of the car im sitting in doin about 30-50mph .this idea started when i got the turbo ultima . i put a modified motor in it and a big pinion. it was way too fast . by the time you hit top speed you had to turn around.so i thought if i went to the top of my hill sat on my skateboard and drove the rc car in front of me i could get to top speed and when it got to far ahead i could just let off and catch up...this worked great and i did this alot till all that high speed running killed the transmission. the car was so bad i just threw it out....

Got a kit SC10 and all the FT parts for it. Have not built it yet (no time!) but wanted to drive so bad that I purchased the RTR as well. So now my son will get the RTR minus the Lucas body!

I took the SC10 out to a local (sandy) track. The RTR was box stock with no mods, just Deans plugs. It went about the same speed as a Slash, but an out of the box Slash handles better than a out of the box SC10. I can say this as my daughter has a stock Slash. In the end after some setup the SC10 will be on top!

The SC10 RTR is very twitchy and needs less steering and more rear traction. My diff felt like it was unloading too soon, heavy diff oil or a ball diff will fix this, I hope! BTW, if you want to put in a ball diff, you will need a diff kit, B4/t4 trans cases and lower case bearings for the B4/T4. The stock lower trans case bearings are metric! All the other bearings are imperial.

The truck is a drivers truck. You must be smooth on the loose stuff! I still love it and I know it will only get better with some setup!

PS: It would be great if this thread was moved to the RC10 Truck Forum!
