Yeah too much grip around the first part of the sweeper! Atleast the 3rd time it landed on its wheels and kept going.
Might get a 2nd camera and point it out the back then put the videos side by side for a widescreen HD video.

Tom - mate that car has some serious potential to be sure. Jumps very nicely indeed. I still shake my head everytime I see it run. You are one very talented man to be sure.
Picked out the 80/81's for you to today mate....next time I come up I will give them to you.
I will bring my legend next time - now that you have done the wheel axles for me - I might have to take on that tripple with the legend and a 8.5 !

Yea do it, the legend will love the triple! Although an 8.5 is pretty soft, should try 5.5 atleast

So the next question is "Where can we order ours?"
I often wondered how difficult it would be to come up w/ a custom 4x4 conversion for such a buggy (unless the MIP project comes to life again), but Im not that mechanically inclined to try and make something on my own.

Wish I had the resources that MIP have! Then i'd be producing complete cars
I'm trying a similar conversion now using a B4, but with more standard parts. The B3 one having the now discontinued stealth gearbox doesn't help with its reproducability!

great thread Bugle-- thanks for a great read on some fantastic handy-work!
It is wild to see the before & after of the old track-- are you guys in a sort-of 'R/C hotspot'? It's amazing that that track has been there for so long!
I love the hang-time in the last video-- when all that can be heard is the air rushing by.

I drove this car last weekend - it is truly a weapon!
If I could get the speed controller settings and steering servo to my liking - I truly think this is one car that you could still hang with the moderns. Launches out of corners VERY nicely.
If Buges wanted to get really serious with it - it really could do extremely well. I liked it and admire his attention to detail. The thing sure is tough too - I had a couple of "brain farts" on some of the bigger jumps (he is running a one way!!), and it just kept coming back for more.
Great car.

Hello,
Apologies if ive already asked but now ive got a B2 to do this conversion on so would you be up for selling me or letting me know where to get the pulleys from, the layshaft, gearbox layshaft gears and what company to get the belt from. Im going to use the B44 castor block and knuckles, but keeping the kit B2 gearbox. Also would you be up for selling a front gearbox casing, otherwise will get another B2 gearbox and cut the top section off and make it work?
