Just got word, the Halsey has landed
Unfortunately can’t grab it tonight but I’m sure going to make it tomorrow

My pre-order from Amain changed from "waiting for stock" to "Pending", hopefully a good sign.

Awesome! Mine was supposed to be delivered today, but is now showing only to have departed Anaheim. Hopefully I’ll get an out for delivery tomorrow! Gonna freak if this thing gets lost!

If a guy wanted to "cheat" and use one of the included motor stickers to replicate a vintage brushed setup, what might be the best currently available motor to grab as far as aesthetics?

Man, I am getting a little antsy! My tracking from associated is showing it bouncing around in California back and forth to Anaheim twice then I got an “in transit to next facility arriving late” update
I’m in Louisiana, priority mail is generally 2-3 days max from California. I hope the post office didn’t drop the ball on me here.

They are getting much better with the box art and presentation. The box is amazing. It's still annoying that my $100 WLToys cars have beautiful painted and stickered bodies but I'd still have to paint this special edition and apply freaking giant stickers. I noticed a few nice painted bodies available for this kit on auction site.

yeah, not sure where it detoured to, but it landed on the porch in one piece!!
Gonna do a build thread as soon as I have more time, took pictures of each step and notes. I would have completed it sans body and paint, except that the vintage titan esc I had planned to use was dead on arrival from 10 years ago I guess lol Going to do some electronics swapping tomorrow. I think one of my display only cars has a working Novak 1 or 4 in it. Ran out of time though.
