Guess it should run and idle before you try to fry the tires.

Agreed on the green slime stripe.

Man that was a horrible burnout or whatever you want to call that

I promise to not dissapoint when the time comes. Car is back on the ground for the time being. Finished the crossmember supports, throttle cable in, and placed an order to start on the cooling and brakes. Im relocating the master cylinder to the inside. The master would fit in the stock location but the gas pedal is now where the brake pedal use to be so it will be easier to just relocate it. Won't hurt to re line the entire car too.

I'm such a schmuck I wouldn't want to smoke the tires. All that undue wear an tear would keep me up at night. Alternate pronunciation would be "Pew-see".
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Got some parts in the mail. Radiator fits just needs mounted.

And I adjusted the axle over to check clearances and take better measurements. Here's the slick with adequate inner clearance and tucked under the fender pretty nice I think. I will definitely need to roll the fender lip still.

Early day at work so I managed to finish the pedal rack assembly.

Tucks up in there nicely.

Not a lot of progress. Finished mounting the radiator with some quick easy alum brackets.

Correct offset wheels arrived for the front. Mounted them up and they clear fine.

And lastly did a little more weight reduction. 11.6lbs from the passenger door. Drivers door will follow. Keeping the glass and window crank for now. Door cover will be going back on to hide the ugliness.

I kind of liked the stock wheels myself. If it were mine I would cruise around on the stock wheels and haul the slicks in the back to the track.

Looking good though and getting close, how long do you think till it moves under its own power?

They are more aggressive looking but I wanted something That would do well on the street. Stock tires were pretty lame in the corners.

I have another set of wheels I still need to buy tires for. They will be similar to fronts but slightly wider. Then the slicks will be in the back for the track.

I'm hoping to get it done by mid late summer.
