this project is for a vintage race here in Korea. we started the race few years ago
i was wondering why Masami put the large pivot ball at the place for body mount. and this picture showed me a pin hall. and i did it too

I'll have to add the 'pivot ball' body mount to further achieve the Masami 'look' on mine
Aw Hyeong - this is such a cool project & it looks like you are so tantilisingly close to actually running your very own WCS... I must admit i'm rather jealous

I'm sure you will keep us updated & report back on your experiences racing this legendary car & relay how it handles.

i didn't look the pictures in yours and Reggie's threads carefully till i assembled the topdeck and shocks. maybe i saw them but could't see the details at the time. i don't think i'd follow every single detail of the original car but finding the correct parts is a different fun to me. thanks for your help you know

the setup with 51T pulleys seems to be wrong. the rear belt was too loose and it didn't work with 51T rear pulley. 51T was replaced with 52T and this WCS ran well. the front pulley was replaced too and i'm still wondering if i run with 51T front pulley and 51T rear pulley. i tried this with tamiya ta03 a while ago. the kit came with 14T, 15T, and 16T F/R pulleys i remember. the side with smaller pulley got more torque i was told. but i'm not sure anything with it yet.
the clearance between 52t pulley and the chassis is fine as well

Thats about the amount that the 'M3' pulley projects into the slot of the chassis on my car, so I would say that your's is correct also. You will notice that the pulley does not quite sit centrally in the slot... this was how it was on the chassis that is original to my car so copied it!
P.S; I got your message Hyeong - I will check with what I have & let you know

a message from Dual solved everything about the belts and pulleys
my loose rear belt with 51T pulley came from my rear bulkhead which has been cut from Works bulkhead.
the original WCS rear bulkhead is 2mm lower than Works' and the tension will be quite right
and the front pulley sits at the exact center of the slot. rear one doesn't but it looks fine
for the record, 2mm setup should have WCS bulkhead and 51T pulleys
thanks guys
