No need to search Ebay...You guys can do the stuff we need...You should make a thread in the BST about services and how much you would charge to do this...Nice work fellas...

Like other experiences in my life, when you try to make a hobby into a business it gets frustrating and to a point burns you out.

I will do one-offs for people no problem. I don't want to be in the game for profit or production work.
Anyone that needs a part reproduced (within reason lol) just buy me some material and we are good.

I really didn't want to use my last glass chassis for this particular project, soooooo.......

The color is the dead giveaway, but once it's not sitting right next to the real one its harder to tell

I haven't, but I'd be up for trying it  gonna need some fresh bits but the few pieces of carbon I have done were no different than G10.

Bought a nice hepa filter and a prefilter that seems to be meant more for foam but whatever keeps the $35 hepa filter alive is good for me

It's amazing how much you don't realize how much suction your loosing

I was thinkin your filter assy. wrapped in an 'outerfilters' mesh type prefilter. It would help keep your filter from getting all the gunk to clean out of it and washes easily up. I had one awhile back that was made for a K&N filter that worked great for my shop vac and spaced it off when I loaned it out. Never checked it when I got it back but when the loanee thought he was doing me a favor of replacing my filter he threw out the whole assy and put some $5 replacement offbrand on it  .
