With all the Brits on here, can I ask have any of you got any recommendations on where to get spares from (other than the usual trawel through e-bay - most of which needs to come from America - no offence just hate the waiting!!)

No seriously, what bits, some stuff is cheaper from USA whatever, especially old school RC10 as not many made it over the pond.

Yep, oretty much all the stuff I've got has been from the US.
Although Modelsport does has some stock - a little less since I placed my order but they di have some! You need to use the part numbers and search their site.

podiumrc can be a pain but have turned me up original nds decal sheets etc

if you want carbon fibre reproduction parts from the UK, Fibre-Lyte has a bunch of repo RC parts on their website from many different brands

REally? I'd given up on them as everytime I'd ordered they tried to order it from CML - bit daft when you know CML haven't stocked it for a long time/if ever!

Roundabout toys did have some old RC10 stuff and DMS have now been cleared out of their old stock by someone who took it all off their hands.

They have a number in brackets next to item, that is live available stock supposedly, fell down on some toe in blocks, but I got 3 nds decal sets this summer
