There's a bit of an old tradition in Australia of calling things the opposite of what they are.... for instance, red heads get called 'bluey', and talentless gits get called 'politicians'... so I'm the Incredible_Serious because I'm not...

Actually, I was nicknamed The Incredible Serious back in high school by my buddies, because I would bring all sorts of weird healthy stuff to eat for lunch, while the others would eat any crap that was produced by the canteen...

Course, due to the various user name restrictions over the 'net, I have a couple of other IDs.... these include IamSerious and I'm_Serious. Not much imagination, I guess.

Mine goes back to the early days of the internets... 1975. My parents didn't want to name me Max because they hated TMaxx's and didn't want kids to poke fun so they mashed their hands on a typewriter and came up with Erich. The name stuck because telemarketers and bill collectors call looking for "E-Rich" (believe it or not they actually DO ask for that name... wishful thinking I suppose).

I have yet to, in my life, meet another "Erich" in person. The best part is there is a mayor (or something similar to that from what I can understand) in Germany with the exact same name. I've decided that he's the evil version of me and set out in my life to take him down! I registered my name as my domain on the internet and I now out-Google him but a couple pages... first part of Operation No Other Erich Reicherts complete!

well i got mine from a friend back in college, he was so slow in everything, in studies and that thing above his neck, then we called him Slow mike, then after awhile every time we would tease him when he goofs up, slow... so when the free base webmail was introduced ( i think AOL), i used the log in ( not AOL but hotmail) slow_jun, then from there my friends in college started using email log-in name starting with slow_ .... and the rest is history....
