i just noticed that the pic of my new ride went bye-bye with the site issue the other week. so here it is again.
i spent some time today making up the parts list to complete the "pro-touring" vision i have in my head (awesome suspension, big brakes, big rims, etc). 2 words......... Cha Ching!

My oldest turned 11 in may. He's bugging me for a 3rd Gen Z/28. I love those cars, but the one thing I have learned is once you touch one one thing, you're changing 10 more behind it. They really suck to put 3 1/2" exhaust on.
I passed up a 1 owner 87 Monte SS last month. Silver, gray gut, 85% orig paint, 350 target motor, typical 90's muscle car bolt ons like Edelbrock headers, blue printed Q jet, stall converter, blah blah blah. $1000, but it needed a rad support. It has a little rot at each mount. Being a former painter and knowing how bad those noses suck to take on/off and line up, I tried to get him down to $800. He wasn't having it and I walked away. I could kick myslef in the ass now. It was optioned exactly how I would have ordered it from GM. It ran 13.40's on radials ( I saw the slips) which isn't bad for a bolt on car. I just wanted something a little less radical than my last car and i snoozed for sure.

I took my truck over to scr8p's shop for a body kit and paint. I think something's a little fishy.

There ain't nothing wrong with the craftsmanship, it's the cheesy materials you bought at Walmart.
And Charlie? It's a GMC ...
