Just couldn't help myself.... the bottom 7 cars are Worlds cars.
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

Isn't it funny that right up until the World's car AE kept with the very same design as the earlier versions (with some improvements). What I mean is when you look back at Masami's 89 car and all the mods that were made like longer arms all round with the hinge pins much narrower and so on I wonder why AE didn't look at going that way earlier. Its not to say I dont like or agree with the way they kept making the similar car but Masami flogged everyone with his car back then.
I need to see someone make the 89 car now - LOL!

Not to take anything away from that prototype car, but Masami probably would have flogged everybody no matter what he drove!

Re: Who else here has a worlds 93 tub car?
Here's my "me too" Worlds car. Had it for a good while, decided to pull it out and install electrics and finally get some pics. Tried to do something similar to the one in the manual. I think it's pretty close.....
To the purists, the nose plate is not a true worlds plate. I will get it trimmed down and the edges blackened to get it closer... The chassis has 1 slight scratch in the bottom BTW. It does have the Tecnacraft TB's on it. A worthy upgrade I feel.
I have the box, manual, body etc. Didn't want to bore ya with pics of that.

Very nice car! Is the bottom scratched up? Also just an FYI theres a 6309 nose plate on The Bay right now for a "buy it now" whopping $95 or best offer. It would save you the trouble of having to cut down and trim....Item number: 200432001376.

Nah, I don't think $95 is in my price range.....
The bottom has maybe 1 small scratch. It is nice enough for me..

Re: Who else here has a worlds 93 tub car?
Very nice car Brandon.... I must admit the odd small scratch or incorrect part doesn't bother me either - kits even when they were new often had incorrect or missing parts - the odd handling scratch or scuff wasn't uncommon either
By the way - do you know if the Sonic series of Reedy motors came after or before the 'Mr' series?
Also, a general Worlds car quiery.... is it possible to get ball bearings to replace the bronze bushings in the steering arms? If so what size would they be?
