So, what did you do RC today?

When it's R/C related, but doesn't fit anyplace else.

Now I need to figure out what I want to do with this little guy.

I'm really tempted to give it front and rear laydown suspension, because I have some extra parts.

Spent a little time rehashing a body I had in the shed.... body was in too good condition to waste, so would have to rely on my creativity instead

Previous owner decided they didn't like box art, so painted it white and Camel Yellow, with a pretty awful design. Not much I could do - the yellow stopped me using Martini stripes or something similar - so added some old vinyl decal sheet, and some decals from the stash. Now it looks like a club-level rally car.... still not great, but good enough.

It's going on a TT01 chassis that I will put up for sale, so I'm happy enough with it.

Oh yeah, haven't decided which wheels to include with it ;)
Osiris is the key.

Excellent recovery. It looks a little Benetton-y.

Got a body painted for the Slash puller, and of course had to name it.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Can't take credit for this one, It was done by my friend, Eric, over at Dominator Airbrushing. Although I did paint the wing, because It wasn't on hand when the body got painted, I'm just glad I got it close to the color.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Got a little head start on modeling the RC10 using the fantastic work of user fbmstar
https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=46796
not too much detail and realism yet just a test pass. The idea is not to make parts but just to make photorealistic renderings and test body paint schemes for my CC & 40th that I finally started building.
There are still some parts I'll need to model the Classic/CC/40th but 90% of the work has already been done fbmstar. I'm fortunate to have Solidworks for modeling & Keyshot for rendering for my business and I foresee spending way too many hours tweaking an RC10 model. I will also share any and all files when I get it going.

I had already drilled the chassis for the standard steering servo mount location, so this building it as a standard gold pan seems right. Well, sort of standard. :D
