i just really enjoyed putting rc10's together or just cleaning them up and kinda..., rescuing them i guess.

I thought I'd see how sales figures were looking in the UK again this morning so off to MB Models website, stock showing 4 now so thought that's another 3 sold yesterday. Then i noticed their allocation is now stated as 35 - was 25 on Tuesday, 30 Wednesday.

They maybe asking the UK distributor for additional units based on pre-orders but they don't appear to be in too short supply yet in the UK !

I really suspect the "limited edition" will only be as limited as there are preorders, the another 10%-ish for those who missed the boat...

I'm late to the party and very excited. I have my original bought in 1990 CE on the shelf (not mint, but it's mine ) and built a 2nd for a brushless runner this year, so don't feel I need another. But am also thinking if I don't get one, I will regret it later. It's great to have such a dilemma, I never thought it would happen.

But I am also REALLY hoping this means one day we will see:
- White ball joint cups for less than #*&%-ing $5 each.
- Stealth outdrives. Oh yes, to own a nice new shiny pair of outdrives would make my Rouge Element C alloy stealth very happy (ok maybe it's me that would be happy).
- Rear A-Arm mounts (white and black) at a reasonable price. Front A-Arm mounts in white at a reasonable price.
- Protech II body. AE is still doing the Protech body, but I am hoping they will redo the Protech II body. I know you can get them from TBG (I have one of theirs), but I'd prefer an AE.

That's all I have time to write, I need to stress more about per-ordering or not .

Guess im just gonna wait and see if a stealth version comes out. I dont want to drill a new chassis for stealth either way.

it's already drilled for a stealth.

I was referring to GP the dist on the wholesale side, not tower hobbies they are the retailer for GP. No clue as to h=what they have at tower on the retail side....

I would be surprised if they only made 10% more than pre-sold. There are a lot of people that aren't involved in chat rooms or check the hobby web sites often, they don't even know it is coming, but they had one of these years ago and if they see one on the shelf that will bee one quick impulse buy.

When one of my kids is being a tool my wife will look at them and say that.

A while back we were at a school function and this kid that my son is not very fond of (close talker being one of the many traits my son doesn't like) came up and started babbling. My son (probably 10 at the time) quietly stood there and waited for him to stop- and then totally deadpan he comes out with "I like turtles". My wife and I nearly wet ourselves laughing.

And now back to the regularly scheduled pissing matches.

I was hoping to get in on the preorder and thought I would at least have enough time to get paid to do so. Looks like these are going fast.
