So to rehash this thread a bit, if I use the wheels and bearings in the first post, can I use the AE B2 cvd's? I can't find the MIP's but can get the AE's.

Cool thanks. While I could order the nicer JC wheels, I like the fact that there are closer options than England in the event that I want some more soon. Even if those wheels are weaker. At least they are cheaper!

Re: *Parts needed to run modern 2.2 rims/tires on your rc10*
I've been seeing many reports of the Duratrax rims cracking and breaking leading some to label them as Duracracks. Is this due to a poor material selection or the glue many people are using to hold the tires on eating away at the material? I remember the original JRX2 rims had huge cracking and breaking problems. I went through those things pretty quickly which got to be quite annoying. I may just resort to buying a couple of sets of JC wheels for the time being until the day I convert the suspension over to the wider world's style with B4 rim options.

A local shop had a set of the Duratrax front wheels on sale for $3 so I figured what the heck and bought them to try out. I cracked them while installing the bearings!!! I can't imagine what would happen running them. The rumors are true. These things are fragile.

What size are the axle nuts on the B44 cvd's? They aren't the same size that are on the 3/16" axles of my JRX or XX. I can't bolt my new wheels on!
While we're at it, what are the axle nut sizes on the B4 front axles? They are slightly larger than 4-40.
