Amain still has the preorder:
https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-associated-rc10-40th-anniversary-1-10-electric-2wd-buggy-kit-green-asc6010/p1586171

And a $30 coupon.
https://www.amainhobbies.com/discount-coupon-code

The green edition looks like it has the Tamiya sized front wheels, at 1.5", hard to tell.

But I really hope this has the chrome knockoffs, so that part is available to us all again.

Definitely getting one.

Amain just changed the release date from December 10th, to the 16th, I pre-ordered a while ago.

The ad says the pic may be different than the actual product. Wonder if the shocks will really be orange.

I don't feel obligated to do boxart on this one, but have never done anything more than a simple 2-color design in the past.

Might have to try hard on this one. :D

I would like to see you do a variation of the OG scheme, but with green in place of the camel. Then put your green Snoopy avatar on the wing. :D

Could color match the chassis and do something like an Associated style Neo Fighter look...

I've got some Rit Dyemore coming too, have one color already and another on the way.

Will definitely be leaning in to, and doubling down, on the Green's - have full artistic license granted exclusively by AE on this one.

Would really like something reminiscent of the Team Car design/tape lines, but with a 70's big metal flake, boat paint scheme, without looking like a clown car - somehow. Cali Green lowrider paint scheme could work too.

Have 10 days before the Green edition ships to come up with something. Would be an insane feat for me, to have the body done before the wheels or chassis. Will start a, warts and all, failures shown, build thread when things get moving.

I like this thread, social media filled with Downer Dan's and Negative Nelly's on these re released cars especially the green one. Nice to see the cool people here who appreciate it.

If only I knew this green release was coming maybe I would have held onto this vintage Parma Chenowth body and not sold it 3 years ago. It came with an estate sale find on top of an early RC10.

My theory for the green chassis, as it seems unanimous that it has no historical connection, is that the anodize vendor screwed up and accidently put a large batch of raw tubs and nose plates in the wrong anodize tank, and Thunder Tiger got them at close to zero cost.

JFK and the moon speech, nice!
I'm a big fan of the moon cabbage.

I've been boosting my midi-chlorian levels for this particular design.

You did the Deadpool Vette. How about a green DS with a Bullet Mustang body?

I like where your head is at.

I’m looking forward to the green edition. Like the idea of the bullet theme.
