I don’t think thing the final price of $400 is that far off…considering all the special production and materials. The JJ Ultima is right there too at that $390.

Agreed, I think it is more the fact that A-Main, Tower Hobbies and a bunch of online shops have pre-orders for $319...

I felt $319 was about right for the rc10cc since it was being advertised as just a display piece. If they wanted $400 for a rere rc10 kit in 2024, it had better been a special halsey edition/replica or something. Don't forget, the JJ ultima is $390, but you could get the regular rere ultima for about $280!

What's the reasoning for the price increase? Are pre-orders exceeded expectations therefore attempting to slow-down pre-orders? Or are they just getting greedy? Etc... Either way, I hope this deters people from making $400 pre-orders simply to make the statement that the CC (and other future re-re's) won't sell at inflated prices. Wishful thinking I know.

So, safe to say the final price will end up $399 at the retailer level after the pre-orders are gone? I have until tomorrow to claim my pre-order through AE, and just kinda on the fence at this point. If this isn't a limited production as claimed, and I am in no hurry, maybe wait it out and see if the price drops

I sometimes order direct from Associated, but when I can save both shipping and taxes (for non-FL res) on a big ticket item I'm happy to go elsewhere. My last 3 purchases (including pre-paid RC10CC preorder) were from here:

I think it was kind of crappy that they said in the email one was reserved for me, yet when I clicked the link a couple hours after I got the email I get Sorry we are sold out.

Just clicked on my link and got the same message. I went ahead and just ordered one from Michael's for $319.

I missed out on it as well. By the time I got the email it said they were sold-out. I didn't have the money any longer to buy one anyway so no big deal.

This is the first time anyone has brought up that they exceeded it. I can always bump it up but how many is too many? My concern was for those on mobile devices.
