Track looks classic! 8) Hope someone gets video since I have plans with the kid all day tomorrow and won't have a chance at any live action. I'm looking forward to seeing some youtube footage. :D

This years event looks to be shaping up really well. The outdoor track will be a change from the indoor style you guys have run in the past. Will make for some epic photos and video with natural sunlight around.

I can't wait.

We had an awesome time today. The track was perfect for the vintage cars and the club did an awesome job getting everything together. We rounded out the night with a little dirt oval too. Lot of new faces this year for sure. Ustream didn't work out today because i couldn't get enough bandwidth out of the mifi to run a stream. Oh well. Pictures are posted to Car Action from today. More to come tomorrow!

I have a question for next year… Are international drivers aloud to participate? I would be a killer to join the race and meet everybody next year.
Cheers

Awesome, awesome, awesome time! The turn out wasn't quite as strong as last year, but the racing was even better I think. The track was great, the jumps weren't quite as big and the surface was looser, more old school. It was perfect. The weather was also perfect, couldn't have been better. Thanks to Erich and the gang for putting on another awesome race, I think this was the best one yet.

PS, I think I might have helped Tamiya sell a few Clodbusters.

The track looked a little looser from the pics I was looking at and I agree that it suits for a more authentic 'old skool' feel than a hard clay surface.

Very envious of you guys from this side of the world

Glad to hear that it was a success.

Thanks Scott, it was a lot to come together at the last minute but to hear how much people liked the track really makes it all worth it. I DEFINITELY want to get a Clod now! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you, I was packing up and looked up and you were gone. Hope to see you all next year!

AWESOME WEEKEND!

erich and the club did an awesome job creating a fantastic track for our "oldies" to race on.
my driving was consistant all weekend....bad. lol 2 3rd place bmain finishes in 2wd and stadium truck.
the sponsers came through with some killer give aways, a wild one, super hotshot, suzuki jimny, b4.1 worlds car and a durango dex410r (which i took home, WOOT!) and a boatload of smaller swag.

for those that missed it, you'll never know the excitement that a rc car action parts tray can stir up! lol

scott's clod was a show stopper for sure, tamiya will be selling some clods this week.

big props to Brandon Giles for bringing the 2wd 1st place trophy back home to rc10talk!! great run Brandon, that was some stiff competition!

LONG LIVE THE VINTAGE NATS!
