Thanks William, it is going a bit slow right now. I finished machining all my aluminum parts and tore the car completely apart. I will be dropping my aluminum off at an anodizer to be coated hard black. When the parts return, I will begin the final assembly. I am still waiting on my MR4-BX slipper plate to arrive so I can begin the final machining work on a slipper clutch.

My next update will be after the ano is complete and the beginning of the final product.

It has been a while since I had an update on this one. I got my parts back from the anodizer and they turned out great. I started the final assembly on most of the car. I still have to make the slipper shaft and a few parts for the rear of the car. I hope to get this one done soon. The amount of work I have put in this car is starting to weigh me down.

I am thinking I need to dye the steering bellcranks black.. The off white just does not fit the theme of the car.

Enjoy the pics and I hope to have more updates soon.

Jake

I hope to be rounding the corner on this one and should be calling it done very soon. I made a few changes to my original plan since my slipper clutch plans did not work out. I acquired a one way spur shaft from Reggie (tahnk you) which is now installed in the car. I have to make some new hubs for the front but that should be a pretty easy task. Other than that, I just need to get the new hinge pin holes drilled and get the rear arms mounted.

I rebuilt the shocks for the car. I turned down the hexes and had the shock bodies ano'd hard black.

I also got the rear wing mounted with the aluminum wing buttons and wing mounts I also machined.

Not much left to do on this one. Stay tuned for the final pics coming soon.

well, at least you can put in the closet when you are finished driving it, and it would still be appropriate

I figured you guys would get a laugh out of that. The guy has all these fancy tools and is using a POS to wing wire. It holds the wing perfectly fine and will stay like it is :P :P

I think it adds character......maybe not
