I agree something looks off. Also I'm not a big fan of the 28.99 price tag. Why is it so expensive. The ss body is 17.99 right?

Mistaken the turbo mirage is 17.99 not the ss sorry

It's a "limited edition". Also, AE's site seems to say that the Turbo Mirage is 'not available for direct purchase' so that means kit supplied only?

There seems to be quite a few parts that say not for direct purchase. Just a few I saw rear arms steering blocks etc. I think that may mean they are just not in Stock now let's hope.
Limited editions seem to be the rage not sure why they would limit production on a popular part that is considered a high wear item like a body. Time will tell

I'm thinking they are showing that due to limited availability. I'm sure the kits are first priority. Just my best guess.

I'm ordering a few of the 6569 end cap and spacers kits, too. bully mentioned the typo previously, and it looks like AE has partially fixed it on their site - http://teamassociated.com/parts/details/6569/. I have several Stealth transmissions that are missing that darn little end cap.

From what I understand it only means you can't buy it directly from AE's website at this moment. Many parts for the B5/B5M also display that notice. I purchased a few parts recently when they were in stock and notice was removed, now it's back on those and more.

maybe it means that you need to buy it from tower/amain or LHS and not from AE directly. coz if not then why would they post something that will not be made available to the customer.. just dont make sense..

Didn't want to read 45 pages to find out but anyone happy about the gear cover? Looks like the world car has a rpm like gear cover. http://www.teamassociated.com/parts/details/6566/

Because this is to be a functional ReRe the gear cover should be welcomed. This isn't supposed to be as true to the original as the classic, as shown by the updated slipper, cvd's, shocks, etc. If u don't like the slipper and gear cover I'm sure you can find the old setup on eBay and use the classic cover....but this thing is meant to be run
