I use my old Hobbico charger as a power supply for my comm lathe and brush cutters, but mine is the little 800 model. The timer doesn't work right anymore but it serves it's purpose.
My brother got it for me in the mid 90's. My first charger was a Kyosho 15 minute DC model (still have it as well, with the box), so it was far from convenient.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
