Bought a Tamiya Mini body from a local source, and it arrived today.
Interestingly, it's the older M01 style body, which takes add-in grille and bumpers... I was expecting the later style, with these details already in the lexan. I guess that's a good thing, right???? Now, got to find the chrome detail parts

Tamiya is supposed to re-re the Mini this year, so that may help with your search.

Nice delivery today....
Quite a list of stuff:
- New built Schumacher Mi6 touring chassis, with a pile of spare belts to suit
- New Protoform Firebird Trans Am body
- Two painted but unused Protoform race bodies
- Three used but usable race lids
- Five sets of touring car mounted rubber tyres
- Big variety pile of decal sheets (mostly for modern bodies)
The Mi6 is such a nice piece of kit..... and has some of the nicest carbon and alloy parts of any touring car I've ever owned.

Being a former fast electric boat racer, by habit, just about everyday of my life I look on eBay for vintage fast electric boats. Last week I found this and made a deal with the seller. New in box Parma Ski tiger supreme kit. Minus the matched 6 cell pack. Oddly enough it is packed in a Parma Follansbee pictured box, but the side box description is for the Ski Tiger and supreme is marked. So hull, full hardware, resister controller, a Parma K stock motor and this kit came with Prather stainless prop which were included unlisted with some of the supreme kits.
These were unique back in the day because they were the only US made fast electric kit sold with a driveline that mimicked the nitro boats of the day with a surface drive flex cable set up and even a Marine Specialties rudder. Pretty neat for an 80s electric rc boat kit. I had a few as a kid that I completely destroyed over the years and I built one a few years back with some modern hardware. This one will be build as Parma designed it with kit components.
PS, have any of the mods considered a boating sub forum? I spent nearly as much time racing fastcelectric boats as I did cars, I can’t be the only one
Oh well, here’s the new/okd project!!

I received this NIB Novak Pit Wizard with purple Cyclone esc. I already had the other NIB Pit Wizard and PC Profile. They all look pretty good together.

That red gasket is ETA for AE 2.25 Stealth.
Those Mip Losi LRM bones are a cool hop-up. I have a set on my Pro SE.

Lightly used. That little label wrinkle in the upper right is bothering me, but I'll get over it.

I picked up a new one many years ago. I was looking at it the other day trying to figure out what build that I would use it on.

Looks like my example is the RCD 10: 27Mhz, Futaba "J".
I've got a build with a Hitec lexan cased speedo, so I'm going for a complementary, clear cased receiver. The Dynamite Micro Pro throws it off with the red case. Although they are essentially identical receivers.

All great builds start with a Tonka truck!

I see months of fun and frustration with this thing.

That might result in accidental amputation...
