A bunch of Spektrum stuff that was on sale at Horizon and Omni.
Five motors, two esc's, and a shorty lipo for ~$100. That's hard to beat.
Being that the battery was made for drag racing, it had 12 gauge wire and a huge IC5 connector. It was tight but I was able to swap over to a more common IC3.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Got some tires, shocks, and axles for an upcoming project, as well as a bunch of bearings.
Tamiya Blitzer rear tires all around SC10 big bores.
I really need to make a big Factory Works order to get several projects moving on.

Those are a hidden gem - can use all the same internals as the 'race' shocks, springs feel dead on for a 10T, and they polish up really nice and easy. I've used quite a few sets on builds over the past couple years. Oh, and when you find them, they are reasonable cheap (under $20 a pair) and way better than any Chinesium shocks.

I traded a pair of 4750's several years back and have a set of Jrx2 tires on my new parts build TRX-1. So I was stoked to find a set of these. I don't know, I think they are pretty hard to find.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

My works 91 just got dropped off. Wasn't supposed to be here until Tuesday. Had the Flu this week so I kind of forgot about it.

I had to wrestle this from the clenched fists of USPS today. For some reason they refused to deliver it and made me go pick it up. It's a very cool Novak NESC 2. Thanks JosephS!

I think I know what's wrong with it. It looks like a previous previous owner spliced in a piece of Losi Tekin power wire

Thru the beat out bag and the strange Korean mid-afternoon lighting, I hope they are identically colored, etc. Front to back though, nobody can look at all of them at once.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

1/8th scale EP F1. Something quite different but I'm looking forward to it.

Got a whole load of parts for my astute rebuild, and some parts from factory works to upgrade my rc10. Oh, and a new coolant temp gauge wire for my irl car.

No idea what I’m going to do with these, thought they were too cool to pass up though. There’s no markings on them but they seem hobby grade.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Did a similar thing myself with these, which I was finally able to grab yesterday.... Bodies are supposedly Toyota GT1, made by Colt, and decals are for the Nissan Australia R32 Skyline 'Godzilla' race car. Again, no idea what I'm going to do with them, but they were too cheap to pass up

Osiris is the key.

If you can spare one, I don't know what I'd do with it either but I'd like to get one. Cool doesn't need justification.romulus22 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 6:20 pm No idea what I’m going to do with these, thought they were too cool to pass up though.
