I'm seeing April as well.
Amain has charged my credit card when I placed the pre-order. I guess this is routine. Hmmm
I don't think I have been charged yet on the pre order...I will double check

Me too..I am kinda glad tho....want the car bad and less chance of backing out, lol
By the way, Horizon Hobby (Tower, etc.) still haven't listed the Mid for pre-order. Does HH offer pre-orders only for brands they own?
Is there a special business relationship between Amain (RC Planet, etc.) and Kyosho?
Of course... Right when I tell myself I'm done just buying random r/c stuff and just focus on building & only buying items specifically for current projects, this Optima Mid rere happens....

I'm guessing everyone who pre-ordered from Amain received this email notice:
"Due to unexpected delays receiving stock for order xxxxxxx, it has not been shipped. If you would like to continue to wait for the products to arrive, you must approve keeping the items on back order on the order status page using the following link:
If you do not wish to wait, you can do nothing and your entire order will automatically be canceled on March 15, 2022.
Your back ordered items are:
1 x KYO30622 - Kyosho Optima Mid 1/10 4wd Off-Road Buggy Kit
Back Ordered, ETA: Unknown
Kyosho Optima Mid 1/10 4wd Off-Road Buggy Kit
If you would like to cancel these line items from your order so that the remainder will ship immediately, you may do so from the My Backorders page:
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
AMain Hobbies appreciates your business! Please reply to this email if you have any questions."
My Fantom was delayed until I finally had to cancel since I was moving. Never did nab one. I’m thinking we are a good few months out.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
I'm finding on the web what appears to be the back of the poster but every copy I find is this very low resolution.
By chance, has anyone found a copy that's legible?
I haven’t received that email, when did you place your order? I placed mine on 9 Feb….and the status on the order page is still shown as pending….

Feb 7th. Maybe your notice is a couple days behind mine. My order still shows pending as well.

I'm certain AMain will ship orders the moment kits arrive.
I reckon since there is an unexpected delay, they are notifying customers and auto-cancelling pre-orders if there is no action taken. Seems like the responsible thing for them to do.
