Yup frustrating .
The front frame can just be a rudimentary thing as its mostly covered by the body but the rear is more visible .

Just did a minor redesign on the engine side covers , it looked wrong at the back and after looking long and hard I've added 10mm at the bottom of the engine side covers so they line up along the side pod top line its fairly minor but I think its altered the balance and stops it looking so jacked up at the back , pictures to follow .

I've still got to wait a few hours before i can put the gold paint on but i think the shape of the rear engine panels is better .

new version

looks better balanced in my opinion .

I agree, the new rear panels look great but why is the printed cage even necessary?
Sorry Dadio, I've probably missed something.

I've been asked if I could make the files for the bodywork available for free and I will but they are not so useful without something to hang them on , the front parts only need something simple under them as the frame is mostly unseen but the rear frame is much more visible . I have no plans to make frames right now so this is a way that people could make a complete set of body parts .

Doesn't look very safe with no helmet.
Totally rad that you scaled down your head and now you are in your SRB. What do you think about the likeness? Does it look like you?

I'm sad to say I really am a 50 year old bald fat guy , the skin tones are wrong and although I did add my horse shoe of hair its very faint and you can't see it otherwise its recognisably me

my painting of small things lacks a lot of skill , a lifetime at the spanners and workshop power tools has left me with rather shaky hands for tiny detailed work .
It was quite cool driving it around the front garden with me at the wheel , my wife must have felt so proud

Looks awesome Dadio.
Your work has inspired me to design a roll cage to fit the interior pan in the rally car.
Unfortunately, since I don't have a printer, I'll make it from some 3/16" diameter ABS rod material.
Anyway, great work on the SRB.
