Chassis is pretty much done, I'm glad I spent the time to clean up the original gold hardware as all the new Clod screws are silver.....

I must say the MSC turned out fantastic, I had to solder some new power leads onto the board and replace the Tamiya plug as the previous owner cut them and spliced in a deans plug. Pretty simple stuff really but makes a big difference. I even managed to remove and reuse the original zip tie.....

Thanks guys, the MSC definitely wouldn't be my first choice but is the most fitting for this build.

Thanks Kym, the Clod has turned out overall better than I had thought. I can't wait for your antenna to arrive, then I can officially call it done.


I also of all things can't find a NiCd or NiMh battery to test it to make sure it all works :roll:

I need to find another Clod to run now, preferably a new one, but they seem to be far and few between at the moment.
