It's a clod thing
Chassis is pretty much done, I'm glad I spent the time to clean up the original gold hardware as all the new Clod screws are silver.....

I must say the MSC turned out fantastic, I had to solder some new power leads onto the board and replace the Tamiya plug as the previous owner cut them and spliced in a deans plug. Pretty simple stuff really but makes a big difference. I even managed to remove and reuse the original zip tie.....

All joking aside the mechanical speed control looks great and brings back lots of memories .

Thanks guys, the MSC definitely wouldn't be my first choice but is the most fitting for this build.

Memories of frustration and runaways ?

Thanks Kym, the Clod has turned out overall better than I had thought. I can't wait for your antenna to arrive, then I can officially call it done.
I also of all things can't find a NiCd or NiMh battery to test it to make sure it all works

That was before it took me a year and 8 months to finish.

I need to find another Clod to run now, preferably a new one, but they seem to be far and few between at the moment.
