What's not to like? Not a thing. Very nice and should work great.
My Pa had a nice set of ignition wrenches by Snap-on (about half dozen different sizes, crazy head angles, etc.). They were beautiful for sure but they were polished super smooth and chrome plated and that made them very hard to hold if your hands were even a little bit greasy.

Not much happening today, waiting for some more parts and the Savox servo. Good news on that, it's in Maryland, one state away.

I get to the lathe this morning for some custom aluminum parts. I've turned a set (4ea) of Savox servo lug size washers. I hit my specs near perfect today, a good sign that I should make something else.

I spent the last of my monthly "hobby money" today on a Jammin RC10 repro body with masks and wing from Sabula Tech. Opted for the USPS Pri shipping as the C2CF is coming together pretty quick!

The body from Sabula Tech is on the way! Looking like a Friday/Saturday arrival.

I had ordered some more Lunsford Punisher ball cups and got screwed. Seller sent me the wrong ones and wants to be an as*hole about it. I'd have to return them to get a refund/exchange. No! I went and ordered some from Amain. Hoping to get the the first of next week. Meanwhile, I'll just suck it up and put the cups in the stash.

Pics coming later today with some updates on the build...

The steering servo arrived late last night, along with a TQ Wire black servo lead, just in case I want to swap out the OEM wire.

Shocks are done. I have 1.18" in the rear, .71 in the front. I used the gold shafts, because I like them. As you can see, I have good CVA to drive cup engagement in the rear, no down stops in the shock to get that with the 1.18" shocks! Due to the added thickness of the Factory Works front shock tower, I swapped out the 3/4" SHCS's with 7/8" long. I wasn't getting enough (for my taste) thread engagement with the nylon nuts. I've also made an adjustment at the rear shock tower for the same reason, 10mm vice 8mm on the shock mounting blocks. You can do, or not do that, it was my own preference.

AN overhead pic, showing a single, CPD white "transverse" battery cup, Carbon Works CF battery strap. I stripped the blue ano from a pair of Associated thumbscrews. The battery cup will be dyed black.

I'm using JC Racing Products wheels for the RC10. I got them direct from the UK. It only took a couple weeks with the cheapest shipping.

Looking good Nomad. I wonder what those two unused holes in the rear top shock mount blocks are for? It looks like that entire rear top shock mounting assembly will ultimately reside inside the body shell. Is that how you see it?

Those 2 hole are for the rear body mount.

Some strategic cutting around the the top shock mounting area of the body will be required. Those two holes are for a rear body mount, I'll get a pic up for you after lunch so you can see what it looks like. I've not figured out the body mounts yet, waiting for the body.

I have seen the body mount flipped around (takes some trimming) where you can hold the body a bit more securely. I also had one build where the body fit so low I ended up flipping it to the front and mounting it lower as well

I agree with leaving it off until you figure out the body.

Here's a shot of the Factory Works rear body mount. On the left, as supplied in the kit (less clip). In the center, you can see a modified body post from a 1/12 scale on-road car. Lastly, on the right is my "standby", dyed black block, in case I need it.

Okay thanks. Actually, I was curious about the two holes in the shock mounting blocks.

Are these blocks also used somewhere else perhaps?

Anyway, the car is really coming together nicely.

I'm going to guess and say those holes are some how used in the machining process of the part.

Thank you, means a lot coming from you!

USPS tracking is showing the body from Sabula Tech and the Lunsford ball cups are due this morning.

That's lovely!

Regarding black wire - I know this might not be up to your standards, but a black sharpie does the job very well... and cheap... and without requiring midget-handed soldering skills :)
